Pleasant Wealth is thrilled to share that Advisor Clinton Miller has completed the qualifications to earn the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®).
A CFP® professional has completed rigorous training, engaged in thousands of hours of personal financial planning experience, demonstrated a commitment to high ethical standards, and passed a comprehensive examination of financial planning knowledge related to practical situations.
CFP® professionals are committed to putting client interests first and are required to fulfill three duties:
- The duty of loyalty. The client’s interests are foremost above the interest of the CFP® and the CFP®’s firm
- The duty of care. The CFP® must act with prudence in relation to the client’s goals and circumstances.
- The duty to follow client instructions. The CFP® must act in accordance with agreed-upon terms of engagement with each client.
Clinton comments, “The material is extensive and I’m thrilled to have successfully passed the exam. I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned to offer better planning solutions for our clients.”
Clinton’s success aligns with the overall mission of Pleasant Wealth – to guide people (you!) to thrive financially in this noisy world by having real conversations that spur financial growth.
